Danilo Cid


A Designer graduate from ESDI/UERJ, Danilo did an extension course in Branding at the Design Institute of America in Chicago. He joined Ana Couto Branding in 1998 and, three years later, he joined the management team, becoming a partner in 2001.

He is a student of all creative processes and Brand creation, as well as of the areas that influence the design and the designer of today’s world. He has given presentations on innovation such as “Full Desktop” and “Hostages of the Black Mirror,” which combines concepts related to sociology and trends. In 2017, he earned his master’s degree in Consumer Behavior (MPCC) at ESPM (School of Higher Education in Advertising and Marketing), with a research project focusing on success criteria for Brands.

As Executive Director, he leads the Brand Focus with a multidisciplinary team of strategists, designers, and writers at the São Paulo and Rio Janeiro offices. He has worked directly on projects for clients such as Itaú Unibanco (since 2005) and BASF (since 2014) and has led the Brand Creation team for different markets and segments such as Rede, Buscapé, Loungerie, Arezzo&CO, Rosa Chá, CI, Mobly, Jequiti, Vila Romana, Topper, and others.

He has been a professor at ESPM since 2009 in the division of Strategic Design and Branding at the Miami Ad School, São Paulo.
